Mariah Purol, Ph.D.

After catching the research bug during her undergraduate career at Central Michigan University in 2015, she pursued graduate studies at Michigan State University and earned her Ph.D in Social/Personality Psychology in 2024. She joined Union College as an Assistant Professor of Psychology in 2024. 

Ashlynn Luong

Ashlynn is a junior psychology student. She is interested in clinical disorders and  relationships. Her goal is becoming a psychologist to help people in need. 

Jasmine Lowney

Jasmine is a senior neuroscience and French major, and a data analytics minor. She is interested in interpersonal conflicts, drug development/addiction, and neurodegenerative disorders. Post-graduation, she wants to pursue a PhD in neuroscience, focusing on interventions for diseases and their underlying pathologies. 

William Perkins

William is a senior Psychology and History major. He is interested in the psychology of belief systems and ideology. After graduating he would like to pursue a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and eventually start a private practice to provide care to young adults. 

Sindhu Chepuri 

 Sindhu is a junior Biology and Psychology major. She is interested in neurobiology, close relationships, and developmental psychology. Post-graduation, she wants to pursue an MD and work as an OB/GYN or pediatric surgeon.
