Projects

There will be one major art project in this course which will be due at the end of the term. This artwork should encapsulate the ideas, concepts, and techniques that we learn through-out the course. You may choose to make a kinetic sculpture, an interactive artwork, robotic artwork, an installation, etc. At midterm, you are required to present the proposal to the class, including sketches, drawings, visualization, schematics, materials, and a rough budget. At that point will we brainstorm together both as a class and individually with me. Due Date: LAST DAY OF CLASS!

Assignments:
In addition to the project described above, you will have several practice in class and out of class assignments.

Presentation:
You will also be giving us a presentation of an electronic based artist, collective or project that you admire and find inspiring. The presentation should be professionally organized, using Power point or equivalent, 5-10 minutes long and allow for the class to have a conversation about the content provided. DATE: TBA (probably fourth week)

Lastly I will require you to keep a Google Site chronicling both your progress in the course and the final project you work on.
