Maya Corridore 

Education:  B.S. in Biology, Union College Class of 2027

Project: Maya is investigating how habitat disturbance impacts faunal biodiversity across local preserves using camera trap and live trap surveys. 

Science Interests: behavioral ecology, species interactions 

Other interests: Birding, dogs, animal tracking, superhero comics, pokemon

Katherine (Kate) Mills 

Education:  B.S. in Biology, Union College Class of 2027

Project: Kate is investigating how diet diversity impacts the stress physiology of rodents. Kate is co-advised by Dr. Brian Cohen. 

Science Interests: Detoxification physiology, stress response, healthcare 

Other interests: Hiking the Adirondack, beekeeping, reading, volunteering 

Ushna Khan

Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Union College Class of 2027

Project: Ushna is investigating the population genetic dynamics of the desert woodrat (Neotoma lepida) across the American Southwest. Ushna is co-advised by Dr. Georgia Doing. 

Science Interests: Computational biology, bioinformatics, interdisciplinary research
