You may use Photoshop, Procreate or preferably both!

Visit Pitti Palazzo -
Homework
Create an AR scene that responds to the Dante Alighieri exhibition we saw in the Palazzo Pitti. You can choose to echo any part of the exhibition by using imagery you find on site, coupled with content you find online. You may want to consider the recurring theme of dualities in his poems and associated imagery: heaven & hell, life & death, good and evil, light and dark, etc. The scene can either be meant to be appreciated on a desk or could be immersive all around the user.
Studio day: Review AR results as a class. Demo: Reality Composer
Homework:
Using Reality Composer and the face anchor, create an AR mask that speaks to your identity. Compare and contrast the person that you were before you visited Florence and the person you are becoming. What experiences or locations have been the most profound? What will you take with you and what will you leave behind? In ten years time, which memories do you think you will still remember and which will sink away? Along with posting your Reality Composer AR file, make recordings of yourself using your AR mask and post them to the class folder. If you can, use the contemporary art that we visit this week to inform some of the visuals or theme of your mask.
Visit the following galleries:
Homework:
Work on your identity project. We will review on Monday.
Studio day: Review identity AR results as a class. Demo: Forger and Cinema 4D
Homework:
Create a AR sculpture that is meant to be seen in public. We will experience and document these artworks while in Venice at the St. Marks Square or other adequate location. The piece should be designed in the round, meaning it must be appreciated by viewing it from all sides. The theme or concept is up to you, but consider scale, color, animation and texture while you are planning things out. You must use some form of mesh based 3D object in the project. This could be made either using Reality Composer primitives, Forger, Metascan or other 3D authoring sources.
Please make sure to video document your projects in landscape mode on your camera. Take several 30-60 second video shots (10 minimum) of the artworks, including closeups and establishing shots.
I want to see some working version of this project next Monday.
Visit Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato, Italy. We will meet at a bus station, so please keep an eye out for the address on your WhatApp channel.
