Duomo Arigato is an educational application developed as part of Union College's Florence Term Abroad program. The app allows students to discover and experience location-based augmented reality artworks throughout Florence, Italy.
Duomo Arigato requests access to:
Location Services – Used to display your position on the map, enable location-based augmented reality experiences, and optionally notify you when you are near an AR installation.
Camera – Used exclusively to display augmented reality content through your device's camera.
Notifications (Optional) – If enabled, the app can send local notifications to let you know when you are near an available augmented reality experience. Notification permission is optional and can be changed at any time in your device's Settings or within the app by tapping the bell icon.
Duomo Arigato does not collect, store, transmit, or sell personal information.
The app does not require users to create an account, and no personal data is shared with third parties.
At this time, Duomo Arigato does not use third-party analytics or advertising services.
The app uses Apple technologies, including Apple Maps and ARKit, to provide mapping and augmented reality functionality. These services are governed by Apple's own privacy policies.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the application evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page.
