Create a static, screen based series of "drawings" with the tools we have covered thus far. Publish ALL results to your class website.

Create a series of animations, motion studies or kinetic curiosities with the tools we have covered thus far. Publish ALL results to your class website.
DUE: February 1st
Create an interactive animation(s) that uses user input in some way. You may choose to develop a small game for this project. Publish ALL results to your class website.
DUE: February 15th
Using the 3D libraries we covered to create a series of sketches. They can be static, animated, interactive or all three! Document your project and post ALL results to your website.
DUE: February 29th
Using the Arduino boards create a physical computing piece(s) that uses at least one circuit. It can be interactive or passive. We will go over these results in class.
DUE: Final Class
Using Processing, or Processing and Arduino, create a final project of your own design. You may wish to revisit an earlier assignment or begin something completely new. If possible, publish all results to your class website or document your project and upload to the class Google Drive folder.
You are expected to maintain an Open Processing site for this course. You will publish all your assignments (that can be supported by the platform) on to that site, including all relevant source code.

During the course each of you will present to the class an artist that uses programming in their artwork. You may choose one of the artists I list in the links, find one in the course book or on your own. Please sign up on the following link as soon as possible: Sign up sheet here
CONCEPT - idea, intention and meaning. Does the artwork clearly communicate something to other viewers?
CREATIVITY - originality of thought and expression. Does the artwork show innovation and uniqueness? Did the artist solve the given assignment problem in an expected or unexpected way.
COMPOSITION - arrangement and organization of elements. Has the artist carefully considered elements such as balance, proportion, texture, color, shape, and positive/negative space and user navigation?
CRAFTSMANSHIP - attention to detail. Does the artist skillfully construct the work? Are all details carefully finished and/or intentional-looking?
