16th and 17th October 2023
University North, Koprivnica, Croatia
After the successful organization of the conferences in 2021 and 2023, we are pleased to announce the third conference, which will be held on October 15–16, 2026, at University North, University Center Varaždin.
Climate change is causing significant environmental changes that pose serious threats to food production, food security, and, consequently, human health and various aspects of daily life. In recognition of World Food Day, celebrated globally every year on October 16 to promote food security, this conference aims to bring together leading scientists from Croatia and abroad to discuss the impacts of climate change on the environment, explore potential mitigation strategies, and examine its effects on all aspects of food production, distribution, availability, security, and health.
While the first two conferences primarily focused on food, this third edition expands its scope to include health, emphasizing how climate change affects not only food systems but also human well-being. Scientists, students of all ages, elementary and secondary school teachers, and industry professionals are invited to participate as either active or passive participants.
All abstracts submitted by August 1, 2026, will undergo peer review, and those meeting quality standards will be included in the Book of Abstracts.
The conference will take place over two days at University North, University Center Varaždin, Ul. 104. brigade 3, 42000 Varaždin.
