The workshop will be hosted in the U2-Quantum "Dipartimento di Fisica G. Occhialini" building of University of Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB). The address is Piazza della Scienza, 3, 20126.
UNIMIB is the youngest public University in Milan, located in the ex-industrial Bicocca area, which has been renovated in the '90s to host the UNIMIB campus.
The university can be easily reached by public transport: Milan has a very dense public transport network combining buses, trams, subway, and suburban trains. Tickets can be bought at ticket machines or via the app of the Milan transport company (ATM).

Milan has a very dense public transport network combining buses, trams, subway, and suburban trains. You can easily reach the workshop venue either by train (stop Milano Greco-Pirelli) or subway (stop Bicocca, on the M5 line).
Both of these destinations can be easily reached from the main Milan stations:
From Milano Porta Garibaldi: take either the M5 line (direction Bignami Parco Nord) or trains to Bergamo, Como, Lecco, Chiasso (first stop, Milano Greco Pirelli)
From Milano Cadorna: take the M2 line (directions Cologno Nord or Gessate) and change to Milano Porta Garibaldi to take the M5 line (direction Bignami Parco Nord)
From Milano Duomo: take the M3 line (direction Comasina) and change to Zara to take the M5 line (direction Bignami Parco Nord)
From Milano Centrale: take the M3 line (direction Comasina) and change to Zara to take the M5 line (direction Bignami Parco Nord), or take the M2 line (directions Abbiategrasso or Milanofiori Forum) and change to Milano Porta Garibaldi to take the M5 line (direction Bignami Parco Nord)
Milan is easily reachable from the main European cities, being the main airline hub in Italy. The closest airports are Milano Linate and Milano Malpensa, but the city is also served by Bergamo Orio al Serio airport which serves as the operational airport for low-cost companies.

People living in Milan, as well as people visiting it for only a short period, like to go out and enjoy the various types of restaurants. If you plan to go to a restaurant in a larger group it is recommended to make a reservation in advance. Many restaurants support online table reservations which make life a little bit easier.
