Things to see

One of the main things to see in town is Corfu's Old Fortress. This is an imposing building jutting out into the sea, reachable by bridge. The entrance is about 10 euro.

For relaxed immersion into the island's life, try exploring Corfu Old Town without a map: you'll definitely get lost in this labrynth of historic buildings, restaurants, cafés, and artisinal shops, but you'll enjoy it!

Reaching Corfu

The easiest way of reaching Corfu is via plane, through the Corfu International Airport (CFU) . The latter is connected with many European cities and major Greek airports like Athens and Thessaloniki.

Corfu is also connected via ferry to many Italian ports (Ancona, Trieste, Venezia, Bari, Brindisi).

Finally, you can also get to get to Corfu using the KTEL bus service, which operates daily services departing from Athens and Thessaloniki with intermediate departure points.
