The Computational Color Imaging Workshop (CCIW) has been at the forefront of color imaging research and innovation for the past 17 years. With a rich history of fostering collaboration and showcasing cutting-edge advancements in the field, CCIW has become a renowned platform for color imaging enthusiasts.
Building on the successes of previous editions, we are excited to announce CCIW 2026, to be held in Tampere, Finland, on September 13th or 17th 2026, within the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP).
The workshop solicits contributions on computational color imaging beyond RGB and emerging sensing modalities, physically based and perceptually motivated color modeling within contemporary image processing and AI pipelines, learning strategies under limited, biased, or synthetic data regimes, perceptually grounded evaluation methodologies and realistic benchmarks, and application-oriented studies in domains strongly represented at ICIP such as computational photography, food analysis, medical imaging, cultural heritage, and extended reality.
Topics may include, but are not limited to:
Color image enhancement and restoration
Color perception and color spaces
Color and material appearance and reproduction
Color image segmentation and classification
Multispectral and hyperspectral imaging
Computational photography and image rendering
Color image quality assessment
Color-based computer vision and image understanding
Machine learning for color image analysis
