Perlis International Engineering Invention & Innovation Exhibition (Pi-ENVEX 2026) is an international platform organised by Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) to showcase innovative ideas, inventions, and applied research across engineering, science, technology, and social innovation. Scheduled to take place from 14–17 May 2026 in Perlis, Malaysia, Pi-ENVEX 2026 aims to nurture creativity, promote research innovations, and that address real-world and societal challenges.
This exhibition brings together students, educators, researchers, and innovators from various educational levels and disciplines, providing valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, networking, and recognition at an international level. Through exhibitions, evaluations, and awards, Pi-ENVEX 2026 aspires to cultivate an innovation culture from an early age while strengthening collaboration between education, industry, and the community.

ARTICLE UPDATES ABOUT PI-ENVEX 2026
KANGAR, PERLIS: Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) once again positioned Perlis on the international innovation map through the successful organisation of the Perlis International Engineering Invention & Innovation Exhibition (Pi-ENVEX 2026), a prestigious platform celebrating creativity, research excellence, and impactful innovation across multiple disciplines for young innovators.
Held from 14 to 17 May 2026, Pi-ENVEX 2026 brought together innovators, researchers, educators, and students from Malaysia and abroad in a vibrant showcase of ideas and technological advancements aimed at solving real-world challenges.
The exhibition featured a total of 221 innovation entries, with 33 international participations representing countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Moldova, Indonesia, Egypt, Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, Nigeria and Romania. The international presence reflected the growing recognition of Pi-ENVEX as a regional hub for innovation, collaboration, and academic engagement.
The event was officially inaugurated by His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, the Raja Muda of Perlis and Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Perlis, accompanied by the Vice Chancellor of UniMAP, Prof. Dato' Ts. Dr. Zaliman Sauli, together with the university’s faculty deans and senior management.
Organisers described Pi-ENVEX 2026 as more than just a competition, highlighting its role in nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinary collaboration among participants from different educational and cultural backgrounds. The exhibition also served as a strategic platform to strengthen ties between academia, industry, and the wider community. Through networking sessions, exhibitions, and project evaluations, participants were able to exchange knowledge, establish collaborations, and gain insights into emerging technological trends. With increasing international participation and growing industry interest, Pi-ENVEX continues to reinforce UniMAP’s aspiration to become a leading institution in engineering innovation and applied research.
