Professor ChM. Dr. Wan Mohd Khairul bin Wan Mohamed Zin is an esteemed Malaysian academic specializing in chemistry, currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Marine and Environmental Sciences at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). His appointment as Dean began on April 20, 2025, and runs through April 19, 2027. Prior to this, he held the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Science Chemistry at UMT. For his education, he earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and completed his master's thesis, "Novel conjugated Schiff-Base compounds," at Durham University in 2004. With extensive research expertise in Organometallic and Inorganic Chemistry, he has also conducted studies on the photocatalytic properties of titanium dioxide.

Professor Ts. Dr. Uda Hashim is currently serving as a professor at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), having recently joined their Faculty of Engineering. Prior to this, he was the Director of the Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP).Throughout his career, Prof. Uda has significantly contributed to the fields of nanoelectronics and microelectronics, particularly in developing DNA chips, biosensors, nanobiosensors, biomedical devices, and nanoelectronics. His extensive research has led to over 450 peer-reviewed international publications, reflecting his dedication and impact in these areas. His transition to UMS marks a new chapter in his illustrious career, where he continues to influence and advance engineering research and education.
