Opportunity for Researcher Travel Grants
GTEST2024 offers travel grants to international participants, on a competitive basis, subjected to approval by our sponsors. To be eligible for the travel grant, the applicant must be registered for any of the 9 conferences affiliated with GTEST2024, and a presenter of an accepted peer-reviewed paper for the conference. Other registered international attendees e.g. conference listeners may be invited by GTEST to apply for the travel grant based on funding availability. These grants encourage participation by students or individuals who would normally find it difficult to attend e.g., individuals from low GDP countries, beginning graduate students, early-career researchers and first time attendees.
Awardees will be allowed to use the grant for their travel costs, which may include:
Economy coach fare air travel to and from the meeting location
Ground transportation (bus, underground, taxi) for neighbouring countries
Accommodation
These costs will be reimbursed after the Congress with the submission of related application documents, presentation of receipts and proof of attendance to GTEST2024. The travel grant will not cover meals, baggage fees, or travel itinerary change fees and may only be a partial reimbursement of the allowed costs. Relevant documents for travel grant application will be emailed to participants after paper acceptance. Applicants will be notified of the decisions at least 1 month prior to the Congress.

We are excited about the opportunities of holding hybrid mode conference to reach a wider audience that a conference can possibly include. Participants from around the world are now can actively participate in this event.
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is organising ICoMSETA 2024 as joint conference with 8 other international conferences, focusing on different issues pertaining to their respective theme under the Global Trends in Engineering, Science & Technology Congress (GTEST) 2024 which will be held concurrently.

Follow the Signs for Ipoh/Butterworth: Stay on the E1 for about 300 km, which is approximately a 3-4 hour drive depending on traffic.
Take Exit 165: Take exit 165 toward Bertam/Butterworth/ Kepala Batas.
Follow Route 1: After the exit, continue on Route 1 and follow the signs for Kepala Batas.
Arrive at Bertam Waterpark Resort: Continue straight until you reach the resort. The address is Bertam Waterpark Resort, 13200 Kepala Batas, Penang.
From Penang Airport
Exit the Airport: Head towards Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah (Route 6) from the airport.
Get on Lebuhraya Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu: Follow Route 6 and merge onto Lebuhraya Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu, heading north toward Butterworth.
Cross the Penang Bridge: Stay on Lebuhraya Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu, and follow signs for the Penang Bridge.
Continue Toward Butterworth: After crossing the bridge, follow signs for Butterworth.
Take the Exit to Kepala Batas/Bertam: After passing Butterworth, take the exit towards Kepala Batas/Bertam.
