Welcome to all aspiring students. Over the years, my journey as an academic, researcher, and mentor has inspired me to write two books aimed at supporting students in their academic pursuits. Both books were developed with a shared purpose—to help students navigate often overlooked yet critical challenges on their path to success.
The first book, Ace Your Final Year Projects: A Comprehensive Guide for Engineering Students, was inspired by years of supervising, examining, and coordinating final year projects. Through these experiences, it became clear that many students struggle not due to lack of ability, but due to unclear expectations, limited exposure to independent research, and gaps in essential academic skills. This book brings together practical tips, real student experiences, and structured guidance to help students approach their FYP with confidence and clarity. It was honored with a national recognition at the National Book Award, reflecting its impact and contribution to student learning.
The second book, How to Be an A+ Student: An Essential Guide for Undergraduate Students, expands on this mission by focusing on the broader skills required for academic excellence. It addresses key areas such as mindset, communication, time management, and adaptability—skills that are often underestimated but crucial for achieving consistent academic success.
These books are more than just guides—they are reflections of real challenges faced by students, and practical solutions developed through years of teaching, mentoring, and research. It is my hope that they will serve as valuable companions in students' academic journey and beyond.
