José María DÍAZ NAFRÍA | jdian@unileon.es

(Doctor in Telecommunication Engineering by the Technical University of Madrid, and M.Sc. in Philosophy by the National University for Distance Education, UNED) he is currently a Professor at the Madrid Open University, Spain, and at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Between 1997 and 2009, he was associate professor at the University Alfonso X el Sabio. As researcher, he also worked at the Technical University of Madrid (1997-2003) and the Technical University of Vienna (1996). He has been a Visiting and Invited Professor at several universities in Europe and Latin America. He is part of the board of directors of the International Association for the Study of Information (IS4SI), coordinator of the BITrum-Research Group, member of the Unified Theory of Information Research Group (UTI), and the International Center for Information Ethics (ICIE). He belongs to the editorial boards of team of the Journals TripleC, International Review of Information Ethics (IRIE), Systema, and glossariumBITri. His research focus on the interdisciplinary study of information and communication, perception, systems and complexity.
