CNR-INO is looking for candidates for a two-year Researcher position at LENS in Sesto Fiorentino (Florence) to work on a new experimental platform with Rydberg atoms in optical tweezer arrays for quantum computing, a project funded by the Italian National Center for HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing. The project will be carried out within the LENS QuantumGases group, a rich and stimulating community of many groups working at the forefront of the field quantum simulation as well as a newly founded quantum computing startup about to start its operations.

We offer a gross salary of 33000 EUR yearly (plus meal vouchers), with minimal taxes for people coming from other countries.
