The UNIFI Master in Quantum Science and Technology is a teaching program within the MSc (laurea magistrale) in Physical and Astrophysical Sciences at the University of Florence.
It covers theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum matter and the application of quantum physics and quantum information to emerging technologies such as quantum computation, quantum communication, quantum simulation, quantum sensing and metrology.
Embarking in this program, you'll be able to master the deepest concepts of quantum physics, such as entanglement, and learn how to control it in devices based on photons, atoms and solid-state systems.
At the end of the 2-years Master pathway you will have acquired the basic knowledge and skills to understand and address frontier research on quantum sciences and technologies, recognized as strategic at the national, European, and global levels.
