We are excited to announce a groundbreaking workshop dedicated to the innovative fusion of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) for advancing the fields of computational biology and medicine. This workshop aims to bring together leading researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts from diverse disciplines to explore and discuss the transformative potential of these cutting-edge technologies.
Workshop Rationale:
As we stand on the cusp of a new era in computational biology and medicine, the convergence of LLMs and GNNs offers unprecedented opportunities for research and innovation. LLMs, with their unparalleled ability to understand and generate human language, are revolutionizing the way we process and interpret vast amounts of biological and medical literature. Meanwhile, GNNs provide a powerful framework for analyzing complex relational data, such as protein-protein interactions, molecular pathways, and disease networks.
By integrating LLMs and GNNs, we can unlock new frontiers in understanding biological systems, diagnosing diseases, and developing personalized treatments. This workshop seeks to harness the collective expertise of the scientific community to push the boundaries of what is possible in computational biology and medicine.
Topics of Interest:
We invite submissions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
Novel applications of LLMs in biomedical text mining and literature review
Advances in GNNs for modeling biological networks and molecular interactions
Integrative approaches combining LLMs and GNNs for disease prediction and drug discovery
Case studies demonstrating the practical impact of LLMs and GNNs in clinical settings
Challenges and future directions in the integration of these technologies
Submission Guidelines:
Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to submit their original work in the form of full papers, short papers, or posters. Submissions should present innovative ideas, preliminary results, or significant advances in the application of LLMs and GNNs to computational biology and medicine.
Full Papers: Up to 8 pages, presenting comprehensive research with significant contributions.
Short Papers: Up to 4 pages, suitable for reporting early-stage research or novel ideas.
Posters: 1-2 pages, showcasing ongoing work and preliminary results.
All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the highest quality of contributions. Accepted papers will be presented at the workshop and included in the workshop proceedings.
Join Us:
This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a transformative wave in computational biology and medicine. Join us in this exciting journey to explore, learn, and contribute to the integration of LLMs and GNNs, and help shape the future of medical research and healthcare innovation.
