Public Engagement involves universities sharing knowledge, research, and culture with the wider public to foster dialogue and contribute to society. On the occasion of the workshop, a documentary screening on the theme of water was organized for 27 November at 21:00 in the Aula Magna of Sant’Agostino, featuring special guests.
In the autumn of 2024, Marco Paolini staged Mar de Molada, a performance exploring the relationship between water and territory through the story of hydrogeological transformations in the Veneto region. Across four itinerant field performances, from the Marmolada mountains to the Adriatic coast, the documentary intertwines narrative, science, and poetry to raise awareness on the urgent need for sustainable water management. It follows the artistic process of the show, highlighting the connection between territory, theater, and civic science.
