Goal 4.1

Preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage
(tangible and intangible sources)
and local identities in Basilicata and Calabria

Goal 4.1 focuses on the preservation and dissemination of the (written, oral, material, visual and sonic) sources related to the Calabrian and Lucanian territorial identities, with an interest in the institutional evolution process as well as in literary, artistic, architectural, archeological, anthropological, dialectal traditions, to bring out and enhance the (urban and rural) peculiarities emerging from history, intellectual circles, literature, art, civil and religious architecture, techniques, materials, local customs, popular traditions. 

Specific goals are: 

• a) to develop IT tools for digital preservation and dissemination of tangible and intangible Cultural Heritage; 

• b) to create and promote environmentally sustainable, experiential cultural routes, based on the construction of territorial identities; 

• c) to implement PE actions to raise awareness on ecological-environmental issues through the critical analysis and the enhancement of the naturalistic, historical, archeological, literary, anthropological and artistic heritage; 

• d) to develop integrated approaches for the preservation and enhancement of tangible and intangible CH, in order to improve the sustainability and accessibility of internal areas, or to prevent depopulation.
