Location of the conference
The conference will take place in the "Juan Remón Camacho" building, located in the University of Extremadura in Badajoz.
The most convenient way of arriving at the university is by public transport. Bus lines 3, 9 and 18 serve the university, with a frecuency of 20-30 minutes.
HOW TO ARRIVE TO BADAJOZ
To arrive at Badajoz from abroad, we suggest traveling by plane to Madrid. Other options are Sevilla and Lisbon.
From Madrid to Badajoz.- Flights Madrid - Badajoz are handled by IBERIA (please see this link since for some reason Google Flights sometimes fails to show all available flights). Typically there is a fight at around 6PM every day except on Saturdays.
There are also trains leaving from Atocha and Chamartín Station in Madrid (see RENFE, https://www.renfe.com/es/en) and buses leaving from Madrid Méndez Álvaro (Estación Sur) (see AVANZABUS, https://www.avanzabus.com). However, these may not be the most convenient choices: trains often suffer from delays, and the trip by bus is quite long (typically more than 5 hours).
From Sevilla to Badajoz.- There are buses leaving directly from Sevilla Airport to Badajoz. As of now, there are two buses per day, at 1PM and 3PM. The trip takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes. Please note this service is not usually available until 30 days prior to the date of travelling. Tickets can be purchased online in https://www.basebus.es (website only in Spanish).
From Lisbon to Badajoz.- There is one bus service handled by ALSA (https://www.alsa.es) leaving directly from Lisbon airport at 10PM. Other bus services by FLIXBUS (https://www.flixbus.es/rutas/lisboa-badajoz) with more convenient timetables leave from Oriente Bus Station at Lisbon.

The Hotel NH Casino Badajoz is a 5-star hotel close to the bank of the Guadiana river. There are also bus stops of lines 3 and 18 within walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes to arrive at the university.

This hotel is on the city center and the university is about 4 km from it. There exists a bus-stop of line 18 which takes about 20 minutes to the university.

This is the hotel that is the furthest from the university, about 5 km. However, it is near the city center and has good connections with the University by public transport. There are bus stops of the lines 3 and 9 near the hotel which takes about half an hour to the university.
