ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract submission for the São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Precision Livestock Farming deadline is May 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM Brasília time, Brazil.


ABSTRACT GENERAL INFORMATION

Original research abstracts will be accepted. The abstracts should consist of original, completed work that has not been accepted for publication.

Authors should be aware of patent considerations before submitting abstracts for publication.

Acceptance of the abstract will be subject to the registration of the first author at the event.

Abstracts must be written in English.

The scientific committee will evaluate the abstracts and designate those that will be presented in poster or oral presentation format.

Abstracts should include title, authors’ names (not abbreviated), affiliations, e-mail address of the corresponding author, and keywords.

Abstract text is limited to 450 words, excluding title, authors’ names, affiliations, e-mail address of the corresponding author, keywords, and any tables.

The abstract must be sent in .docx format, using Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 spacing between lines.

Participants who do not have project results to write an original research abstract may submit an abstract about their research projects. These abstracts will not be published in the proceedings but may be presented in poster format during the event. Abstracts about the research project must follow the same abstract general information.

 

ATTACHED MATERIAL GUIDELINES 

Tables, figures, graphics, and images are considered attached material.

Attached material are encouraged and must present the quality necessary for good graphic reproduction.

Attached material must be prepared so they can be understood without referring to information in the body of the abstract.

Each attached material shall be placed on a separate page (separated with section breaks) and identified with numbers.

Author-defined abbreviations must be defined in each attached material.

Tables must be created using the table feature in MS Word.

Each column must have a heading (e.g., Variable, Ingredient).

Units (e.g., kg) should be separated from headings by a comma, rather than being shown in parentheses.

In the body of the table, numerals are used to reference footnotes.

Lowercase, superscript letters are used to indicate significant differences among means within a row or column and to reference footnotes explaining how to interpret the letters.

Attached material must be sent in the same file as the abstract on a separate page (separated with section breaks) with their respective titles.
