His major field of interest includes power definitions under non-sinusoidal and unbalanced conditions, harmonic propagation under unbalanced conditions, power quality issues and compensation techniques in electrical networks under non-sinusoidal and unbalanced conditions, cooperative control of power electronic converters in smart grids, grid-connected converters for renewable energy systems and micro-grids.
He has published over 100 journal and conference papers
Named as 2 CNPq Researcher in 2019, thus acknowledging, his productivity and ability to conduct high-level research as an independent researcher.
