In order to be concise, presenters may make use of PowerPoint or any other presentation software. Please send your presentation and any other request by December 9th. Also, you may consider having your presentations saved locally (do not rely on access to cloud-based services). As a backup, it is recommended to email a copy of your presentation to yourself. You may consider the following suggestions:
1. Avoid using images as background; it may affect the understanding of your text.
2. Avoid using too many decorative images or too much text. We recommend using simple graphs to organize the information better.
3. Be sure the size and color of your fond is appropriate and easy to read. Consider the background color.
4. Avoid placing your images, graphs, or logos over text or background; consider symmetric organization.
5. Be online or in the auditorium at least 15 minutes before your presentation.
6. Be sure you have a reliable internet connection, or test all your material before presenting in person.
7. Test all your technological tools including microphone and/or camera for online presentation.
8. If you are presenting online, be sure to have a non-distracting environment and background during your presentation.
