Educational Testing Service (ETS) offers multiple test preparation materials and study guides https://www.ets.org/praxis/prepare

ETS is offering recorded Praxis Core Webinars You can access via https://www.ets.org/praxis/prepare/webinars/

ETS provides a free online test prep resource called Khan Academy including free Praxis Core diagnostic tests and study plan support https://www.khanacademy.org/prep/praxis-core

Teacherstestprep.com has free Praxis resources as well as resources available for purchase. With the creation of a free account, you will have access to free practice tests for Praxis Core subtests https://www.teacherstestprep.com/

Once you have explored these resources, identify the specific skills you would like to work on. Then, utilize the services available at UNC Pembroke:

Students can sign up for Tutoring for Praxis core content online and on campus: https://www.uncp.edu/departments/center-student-success/academic-engagement/tutoring-program

Students can sign up for assistance through Writing Center online and on campus: https://www.uncp.edu/departments/university-writing-center


Students can participate in online Praxis preparation through Robeson Community College

NAVAED is going live on Facebook for all types of prep courses for teacher certification. This week's classes are below. These are completely free.

  • 3/31 Tuesday 5PM - FTCE & Praxis Math

  • 4/1 Wednesday 3PM - FTCE Professional ED

  • 4/3 Friday 3PM - FTCE & Praxis Middle School Science

How do I sign up?

  • You do NOT have to sign up for these sessions. You access them directly from our (NavaEDFL) Facebook page. It helps to like our page (NavaEDFL); that way, we show right up in your feed.

What if I cannot make it during the live session?

  • No problem, catch the replay in the videos tab on our Facebook page.


  • We'll be live on our Facebook page this week for Praxis test prep (see schedule below). Please forward this on to prospective teachers who are studying for their exams. Visit our website at NavaED.com.

  • We'll be live today (4/6/20) at 3PM EST for Praxis Grammar. This will help you with your essay as well. Just go to our Facebook page at 3PM, and you can access the session. If you've already liked our page, we will show up in your Facebook feed at 3PM EST.
