Our research is interested in the emerging properties of nanoscale materials and hybrid structures. When these materials are thinned down to single atomic layer systems, fascinating properties come into play, generating significant research interest. We have been interested in both the fundamental physics that emerges from these materials, as well as their bio- and quantum applications in future technologies.
