Welcome to Smart Infrastructure Asset Management (SIAM) Lab. The research at SIAM Lab focuses on applications of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) in solving critical problems in designing, building, operating and maintaining civil and transportation infrastructure. We conduct innovative cross-disciplinary research in predictive data and visuals analytics, real-time safety systems, spatio-temporal visualization systems and decision optimization to foster the safety, intelligence, efficiency and sustainability of our critical infrastructure. To achieve this, our team at SIAM closely works with domain experts from machine learning and computer science, civil and transportation engineering as well as leading industries. At the same time, we are committed to bringing the value of our research to classroom education and outreach.
