The Microbial Ecology Lab is open to accepting Postdocs and PhD students. Details below.


Lab members will have access to state-of-the art wet lab, and computing, and sequencing resources, including in-house sequencing for both short and long reads (Illumina NextSeq and Nanopore GridION). As a part of a new lab funded on flexible startup, you have the freedom to shape your research questions and target environments. All lab members enjoy newly renovated lab and office spaces in the Bioinformatics building, as part of a $10.5-million funded center integrating environmental and computational biology.

PhD

Prospective students may choose to enter either the Bioinformatics or Biology PhD programs. Funding is guaranteed for five years at $23500/year, plus summer supplement ($7332). Applications for fall are respectively due January 1st and 15th.
