This is a place to tinker, to create, and to generate innovation of all kinds. The use of our equipment and some materials, including filament for the 3D printers, are free of charge for UNC Charlotte students, faculty, and staff. If you would like to use our machines, please see our walk-in training times below!

CCI Makerspace follows the university calendar for breaks and holidays. The space is closed when the university is closed. It is also closed during the semester on student break days when the university is open but regularly scheduled classes are not being held.
Training Sessions
Training Sessions
To use our space to its maximum potential, we require that you get trained! Our space offers comprehensive training sessions; laser cutter and 3D printer walk-in times are above.
These one-on-one sessions are roughly 90 minutes long and go over our Dremel 3D45 3D printers and Epilog Laser Engraver. No prior experience is required! We also offer training on the Sewing Machines, Form Resin Printer, and more! All trainings are free of charge.
