Ways to talk about the pantry:

• Giving Tuesday is November 28th, and this year, we’re supporting students at the Jamil Niner Student pantry!

• Our goal is to ensure that no person in the Niner community goes hungry and that every student has access to nutritious food.  

• Help Niner Nation fight food insecurity this Giving Tuesday. Donations directly support the Jamil Niner Student Pantry, because no Niner should go hungry this holiday season.

• The Jamil Niner Student Pantry is working hard to spread the word and reduce the stigma around shopping at our food pantry. We want all Charlotte students to know that our pantry is a safe place to find free nutritious food on campus if you are experiencing any level of food insecurity. #FeedANiner #UNCCharlotte

• Last year, the pantry had over 9,000 appointments. While serving over 1,000 unique shoppers.

Fight Food Insecurity for Niners this Holiday Season!

Calling all Niners! 

The UNC Charlotte community supports Niners as they face challenges of food insecurity. This Giving Tuesday, November 28, 2023, make a gift today to ensure every Niner has access to nutritious food this holiday season and beyond. Your donation can allow students to focus on their academic success instead of where to get their next meal.

The Jamil Niner Student Pantry was created to ensure food security, human dignity, and well-being on campus by providing in-need UNC Charlotte students with healthy, culturally appropriate emergency food assistance-- and this wouldn't be possible without the support of generous alumni, parents, and friends.
