Interpretation Events 

Dramatic Interpretation  (DI)

A cutting from a dramatized script or multiple scripts under one theme involving the portrayal of two or more characters presented by two individuals. 

8-10 minutes

Prose Interpretation

The student will present a piece of prose literature. 

8-10 minutes 

Program of Oral Interpretation (POI)

The student will present a program composed of multiple texts such as poetry, scripts, news, blogs, or social media. 

8-10 minutes 

Duo Interpretation

A cutting for a dramatized script or multiple scripts under one theme involving the portrayal of two or more characters presented by two individuals.

8-10 minutes

Poetry 

Students may chose to perform one long poem or create a program of poetry from one source or multiple sources.
