Hi, I am Bhaskar Mitra, currently pursuing my PhD at University of North Carolina Charlotte in Electrical and Computer Engineering, under the supervision of Dr. Badrul Chowdhury.

I completed by undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering from Asansol Engineering College under WBUT (now Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology) in 2013.

I have worked with TATA Consultancy Services as an application developer. My goal has always been to pursue higher education which led me into applying for PhD in the United States. The journey has been really amazing which has helped me in developing a variety of skill sets, making me more responsible and career oriented.

From learning to drive to cooking my first dish the experience has been enthralling. The willingness to learn at every step of my life has been a boon, which has helped me in coping with lot of difficulties and challenges in life.
