Our mission is to provide a platform for the professional development of biology graduate students, to promote scientific awareness, and provide educational outreach to the Charlotte community.

What we've done
The Charlotte community gives our members a place to call home. Giving back to our community is an important pillar of ABSGS. Pictured below are photos from some of our outreach events, including our partnership event with Happy Tails Rescue, Inc, where guests had the opportunity to play with puppies up for adoption, find adoption information, and donate to Happy Tails! Some other outreach events we host are the annual Stream Clean, and the annual Biological Sciences Meet & Greet!
