The organizers are committed to making SEEDS 2026 a productive and enjoyable meeting for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality, or religion. We will not tolerate harassment or bullying of participants in any form.
Guidelines for Participants
During the meeting, all attendees, speakers, and organizers are expected to:
Behave professionally: Harassment, bullying, and sexist, racist, or exclusionary comments or jokes are strictly prohibited.
Respect Boundaries: Harassment includes sustained disruption of talks, inappropriate physical contact, sexual attention or innuendo, deliberate intimidation, and stalking.
Media & Privacy: Recording or taking photographs of an individual without their consent is not allowed. If you wish to share photos or contents of talks/slides on social media, you must first get permission from the presenter.
Communicate Appropriately: All communication should be suitable for a professional audience. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any venue, including talks and posters.
Be Kind: Critique ideas, not people. Do not insult or put down other attendees.
Enforcement and Reporting
Participants asked to stop any inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately. Attendees violating these rules may be asked to leave the event at the sole discretion of the organizers.
Any participant who wishes to report a violation of this policy is encouraged to speak, in confidence, to any member of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) or email us at seeds.meeting.2026@gmail.com.
Legal Framework
For any conflictive situation or ethical issue not explicitly contemplated in this text (such as research integrity or publication ethics), we will follow the official IAU Code of Conduct.
