MY PROFILE

 Fulgensia Kamugisha Mbabazi(PhD) is a Senior Lecturer of mathematics and former Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science and Education at Busitema University from 2021 through 2024.  During her term of office, she coordinated academic affairs, curriculum development and served on various committees in the Faculty. Dr Fulgensia is an experienced mathematician and educational leader with a strong background in teaching, research, and administration.   She has taught various undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses and has supervised five (5) Master’s students to completion in their Master of Science in  Industrial Mathematics programme.

Her research interests are; Mathematical Modeling of Infectious Diseases, Dynamical Systems and Modelling Fluid Flow. She has a proven track record of research and publication with a total of nine (9) peer-reviewed publications and 2 book chapters. She has 27verified peer-reviewed papers for 17 Scientific Journals. She has also extended her expertise to sister universities by examining students' Master's and PhD Theses. She has attended and participated in 25  international and local conferences/workshops.

She is  self- driven, good listener and communicator, team-work oriented and ready to work under tight deadlines.
