FESTIVAL of TEACHING & LEARNING IDEAS (FoTLI 2025)
(also known as HARI INOVASI PPAL 5.0)
THEME: Educating with Purpose, Innovating with Impact
Innovation is something new or unique, either as a creation or the result of a restructuring process that brings benefits to society and holds significant value. The process of innovation can occur either radically (suddenly) or gradually, eventually leading to changes in products, processes, or services. Innovation can take various forms, such as the introduction of new technologies, changes in delivery systems, or modifications in procedures that can enhance productivity.
The Centre for Fundamental and Continuing Education (PPAL) is one of the Responsibility Centers (PTJ) entrusted with providing teaching and learning services for courses that include General Core, University Core, and Electives. PPAL also continues its efforts in strengthening the lifelong learning Approach. In this regard, the capabilities and commitment of academic staff are increasingly challenged as they adapt to new norms that are more aligned with online teaching and learning methods. Therefore, every academic staff member must be equipped—and is in the process of equipping themselves with new skills that align with technological advancements.
In line with this, PPAL is organizing a competition to assess the readiness and creativity of academic staff in exploring new experiences through innovations that can contribute to teaching and learning methods, delivery systems, and overall productivity
