PHC 7594 Genetic Epidemiology (LEC 3.0)
This course covers fundamental concepts, terminologies and principles in genetic epidemiology. Study designs and analytical methods for gene mapping will be covered. At the completion of this course, students should be able to critically review and discuss genetic epidemiologic literatures, provide input on the design of genetic epidemiologic studies, identify and apply appropriate tests for genetic analysis, and interpret results of genetic linkage and association analysis.
Prerequisites: PHC 6000 (Epi Methods I), PHC 6011 (Epi Methods II, can be taken concurrently), and PHC 6050c (Biostat Methods I). Course is designed for master level (MS/MPH) or PhD students. University of Florida.
ENG MGT 3310 Operations and Production Management (LEC 3.0)
Concepts of operations and production management are presented at an introductory level. Qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques used for the optimization of the operations component of the total enterprise are explored in the context of improved productivity and strategic competitiveness.

Bio Sci 4393 Immunology (LEC 3.0)
Introduces the fundamental principles and the key players of the immune system, as well as the role of immunology in diseases and treatments. Major topics include the development of the immune system such as T cell and B cell development, innate and adaptive immunity, autoimmunity and tumor immunology.
Prerequisites: Cell biology (BIO SCI 2213), General Genetics (BIO SCI 2223). Missouri S&T.
