FGR SCHOLAR NEXT STEPS BEFORE AUGUST 18TH
IMPORTANT DATES
Sunday, August 17th: Early move-in for scholars who have a fall housing contract.
Monday, August 18th to Friday, August 22nd: First Gen Roo Scholars Welcome Week Program.
Welcome Week: Scholars will participate in in-person activities throughout the entire week that will allow scholars the chance to get to know campus better, build a community with other First Gen Roos, meet their peer mentor for the Fall semester, attend professor-led academic sessions to give a feel for being in a college class, go to campus resource workshops to better understand all the supports available on campus, and it is an excellent opportunity to get more comfortable on campus and start getting to know people before the semester even starts.

Monday, November 1st to Sunday, November 9th: National First Generation Celebration
