This workshop is a 3-hour session that includes new individuals who want to become trained Peer Observers and previously trained Peer Observers who wish to continue in this role. To participate in the workshop, complete the application to be a trained observer. The Peer Observation program promotes teaching development by creating a collaborative partnership between the observed faculty member (the Observee) and a trained Observer. The Observer and Observee work together in this formative process, which allows the Observee to take responsibility for their own development. This program includes guided self-reflection questions and focused conversations between the trained Observer and Observee. This program is modeled after the Cycle of Peer Observation discussed in O'Leary, M. (2020). Classroom observation: A guide to the effective observation of teaching and learning and fits nicely into the Mentoring program here at UMKC.

2. Identify the 6 steps of the process including the purpose and requirements of each
