Fasteners that have a metal hook that secures into an “eye” or loop where the hook fits. 

Fasteners involving two strips of fabric, one with hooks the other with loops, that secure when pressed together. VELCRO is well known for their hook and loop closures.

Loops on the inside or outside of the garment that allow the wearer  

Pull on style typically involves no fasteners and the wearer is able to simply pull on the clothing item.  

Raglan sleeves are made with one piece of fabric that reaches from the collar of the shirt to under the arm, so that the seam runs diagonally across the chest.  

Designed with wheelchair users and others who are frequently seated in mind. Seated fit may include pants having a shorter front rise and higher back rise to reduce bunching when seated. 

Fabrics that are made with flat seams, no tags, and softer fabrics to limit discomfort when wearing.  

Zipper attachment that allows more space to grasp the zipper or enable the wearer to zip with one hand.
