Flexibility with Purpose: Shaping Education through Inclusive and Authentic Teaching and Learning
Dr. Muhamad Saiful Bahri Yusoff is a Professor of Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia. He holds an M.D., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Medical Education and is widely recognized for his expertise in curriculum development, assessment, teaching and learning, and quality assurance in medical and higher education.
He is the founding Editor-in-Chief (2009-2024) and currently serves as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Education in Medicine Journal. He is also the President of the Malaysian Association of Education in Medicine & Health Sciences, the Special Advisor to the Executive Director of the ASEAN University Network (AUN), and a programme assessor for both the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and AUN Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). He is the former Head of the Medical Education Department at the School of Medical Sciences (Jan 2016 – Sept 2023) and the former Director of the Centre for Development of Academic Excellence (CDAE) (Oct 2023 – Apr 2025) at Universiti Sains Malaysia.
He is frequently invited as a speaker and trainer at national and international levels, contributing to faculty development and academic quality enhancement. In recognition of his impactful research in medical education - particularly in the areas of well-being, resilience, and psychometrics - he has received numerous prestigious awards and research grants. Since 2022, he has been listed by Stanford University among the World's Top 2% Scientists.

Infinite Possibilities for Flexibility in Academic Excellent
Dr. Nurbiha A Shukor is an educational technologist, an Associate Professor from Faculty of Educational Sciences and Technology, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia for the past 14 years. She received her doctoral degree in Educational Technology and her research interest is on educational data mining, online learning and learning analytics.
She is currently serving as the Director of Center for Advancement in Digital and Flexible Learning at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and entrusted to be the Chairman of Malaysia Head of Public University e-Learning Council (MEIPTA) since 2020 until now.
She has conducted various trainings and workshops locally and internationally related to designing online learning, MOOCs and Micro Credential. She headed research grants both local and international research grants related to learning analytics and online learning. Her recent project is with UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace (MGIEP) to develop online course on Media Literacy and MOOC development on Data Analytics for Educators funded by British Council.
