Biochemistry Club BiOnward Program

The BiOnward Program was created in Spring 2010 as a way for our members to get involved in promoting science education and to share the excitement of biochemistry with elementary school students. Our presentations engage young students in local elementary schools with classroom demonstrations and hands-on activities. The lessons we have developed as a club include acids and bases, bacteria, cells, and structure and function.

American Red Cross Blood Drive

Each year, the Biochemistry Club helps organize and coordinate successful blood drives with the help of the American Red Cross. Our upcoming blood drive will be in TBD in Coffman Union. We will be sending out an email asking for volunteers to help with the donor check-in process. This is a great way to meet fellow club members and get some volunteer hours! Keep checking your email for details!
