About Us

Overview

The UMN Clean Snowmobile Team consists of current University students from multiple majors. We are a registered campus life program at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities that modifies a stock snowmobile to become quieter, more efficient, and better for the environment. The team competes each year in the SAE Clean Snowmobile Challenge in Houghton, Michigan. This is where we compete against other Universities to see who has made the most clean machine! The team was founded in 2014 and offers all students at the University of Minnesota the opportunity to develop hands-on skills, learn teamwork, and gain experience in design and leadership.
