What content should be added to the tracker?

• removed or modified government documents and websites

• language censorship by the federal government

• suspension or elimination of agencies, programs, funding, or services that will impact accessibility or accuracy of government information

• suspension or elimination of the collection of government data

Who can view or use the data in the Gov Info Tracker?

Anyone in the public can view the public Gov Info Tracker spreadsheet or use the searchable database.

Who can add missing websites and documents to the Gov Info Tracker?

Anyone can add entries for missing or impacted government information using this submission form.  Because this is a community project, with user-submitted information, we cannot guarantee that entries are accurate or complete.  We will make an effort to edit entries for clarity and completeness as time allows.  

Will you edit my entry?

Entries go into our backend queue before being published on the public Tracker.  We add metadata to entries before publishing them.  We will make an effort to edit entries for clarity and completeness as time allows.  Because this is a community project, with user-submitted information, we cannot guarantee that entries are accurate or complete.  

What if I see an error in the Tracker, or I have an update to an entry?

You can email us at trackgovinfo@gmail.com with notifications of errors or updates.

Are my submissions anonymous?

There is a place on the submission form where you can include your name or initials if you choose, or you can leave it blank.  We are not collecting emails, and we will not post names or initials on the public version of the spreadsheet.  This form and spreadsheet are created in a cloud-hosted instance of Baserow.  We will not publish identifying information but cannot guarantee anonymity due to technical and/or legal factors outside of our control.
