During her time at Cal Poly, she was the president of the Economics Society on campus. Outside of school, she interned as a Management and Program analyst at the Government Accountability Office. In addition, she interned at KPMG in Risk Advisory Services.

Tanvi is interested in researching methods to holistically evaluate novel drugs, devices and interventions by comparing their costs and outcomes to existing treatments, using a combination of clinical and real-world data. She believes that introducing methods of economic evaluation and evidence-based decision making to our healthcare system will help identify factors that contribute to inefficient allocations of medical resources.
