A student project wins big in Twin Cities advertising competition

Hubbard students entered class projects in the annual Twin Cities Advertising Federation creative competition, The Show. Watch this spot to see who won! Here's a peak at the finalists.

Entries to The Show: From left, Cooper Olson and Adam Bergh submitted designs for Idaho Tourism. Eleanor Snee, Abbey Jones, Bonnie Young, and Marian Masinda entered an ad campaign for Bachman's Nursery, "Plants aren't kids." Melanie Ketelson submitted one brand prototype for The Surface at Gallery 241 in McNeal Hall and another for Prohibition.

Ad Competition team competes at ADMERICA

After placing fourth at semi-finals, the Hubbard School's National Student Advertising Competition team went to the American Advertising Federation's ADMERICA event in St. Louis (June 1-4, 2023) to compete at Nationals. The University of Minnesota won the Best Presentation Group award among the eight finalists, and senior Luckett Vanguard won Best Presenter.Â
