The Peter O. Stahl Advanced Design Forum, launched in 2023 with a donation from Peter’s wife, Dr. Cynthia Arnold, is a premier annual event bringing together senior industry leaders from all over the world to share best practices on adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning to transform the ways chemicals and materials are designed, developed, and produced, and to foster collaborations. It exemplifies the commitment of CEMS to excellence in research and education, now leveraging the emerging fields of data science and machine learning.
The forum will include sessions and panel discussions led by experts from organizations including 3M, Dow, Sanofi, Toyota Research Institute, General Mills, KPMG, Citrine Informatics, Neural Concept, Medtronic, PhysicsX, H.B. Fuller, and more!

The Rapidly Evolving AI Adoption Landscape: Authoritative assessments from leaders in various industry sectors on data infrastructure development and management, breakthroughs in product design and supply chain management, and the promise of generative AI
Frameworks for AI Implementation and Value Attainment: Expert presentations on state-of-the-art AI adoption platforms for product/process design, the business case for AI, and its potential for disruptive innovations across sectors
AI at Scale: An insightful discussion on strategies for impactful implementation at the enterprise level; barriers to adoption and how to overcome them; and leadership, engagement, and collaboration across an organization and between organizations
