We're the University of Minnesota chapter of the Society of Physics Students - or just SPS.
We're a community of physics majors & physics enthusiasts, and we organize lots of fun activities & informative events. See the Events page for some examples!
We have support from UMN-SPA and SPS National, but SPS is run by undergraduates. You can learn more about us on the Officers page.
We also collect useful resources, info, & opportunities - see the Resources page and our weekly emails.
Becoming an SPS member is simple, easy, & free. Go to the Sign Up page to get started!
Mostly, we help build a community of physics enthusiasts at UMN!
We normally have weekly informal meetings (for fun & games) and less-frequent formal meetings (for bigger activities & more physics-y stuff).
We also try and help aspiring physicists through study groups, mentoring, and info sessions.
