Advocacy

We met with several the teams of elected U.S. officials, including Congresswoman Jayapal and Congresswoman Omar, to advocate for South Asian Heart Health Awareness and Research Act.

Our team also co-wrote the passed resolution "Disaggregation of Population Health Data" at the 2024 Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians House of Delegates meeting. We drafted and advocated for this resolution in order to ensure that more comprehensive demographic and public health data is available to help guide health equity research and policymaking.
