Below are different educational tools to help Program Directors develop a basic and advanced understanding of the ACGME.
The ACGME offers over 150 free instructional videos, modules, and documents for Program Directors through its free Learn at ACGME website. Users must have or create a free account in Learn to access these presentations. Once logged in, you can search for the specific content.
New Program Directors in ACGME accredited programs should complete the Introductory Course for New Program Directors at ACGME Learn prior to your first meeting with the DIO.

This resource can be used to identify areas of improvement for your clinical faculty and yourself as a program director.
Read through the Clinical Educator Supplemental Guide and rank yourself in each milestone.
For any milestones that you ranked yourself at level 4 or lower, develop a SMART goal for yourself for how you can achieve level 5.
If you do not understand or have questions about any of the milestones, reach out to your mentor or bring up during your monthly meeting with Dr. Culican.
